2. Defect Symptom
Wear of the pressure release levers F/R (P/G 23 -2, 3) may cause heavy lever operation.
3. Description
As a countermeasure, grease (rice grain size, 4 places) is applied to the fusing unit to
reduce wear of the pressure release levers. (See figure below.)
If operation of the pressure release levers F/R is heavy when servicing, apply proper
quantity of grease (UKOG-0255FCZZ).
4. Action
Added to production from September 2003.
