Changes: 1. Error correction
1. If a series of Null codes exists in data when printing in a non-Windows environment where the printer driver is not
used, PS error may occur. This problem is fixed.
2. If many unnecessary spaces are output after job end data during printout with a particular application where the printer
driver is not used, the next job may not be printed. This problem is fixed.
3. The following correction is made: The processing when receiving a wrong font specification command and the
subsequent operation are conformed to the HP printer.
4. When printing out QuarkXPress data including EPS images from Mac, PS error may occur. This problem is fixed.
5. SAP R/3 barcode standard test file may not be printed out properly depending on the combination of printing direction
(vertical or horizontal) and paper feeding direction (wide side or narrow side). This problem is fixed.
6. When printing out data using the PS driver with the Illustrator's gradation function on, colours become darker. This
problem is fixed.
7. When printing from Illustrator, a part of the object outline is whited out or blank printing appears. This problem is fixed.

1. The following change is made: For the models for North America, MetaData, etc. can be set and transmitted and the
settings can be changed from the scanner screen.
    For any destination other than North America, the version is changed to standardise the firmware.
