Reinforcement of the attachment position of the FU 
spring to the paper exit lower paper guide 
1. Model Name AR-M256/M316

2. Symptom 
When the attachment position of the FU spring R to the paper exit lower paper guide is 
broken, the FU spring R is disengaged, and the PS upper roller is also disengaged, 
resulting in a paper jam (POD2_ND). 
3. Description 
To make reinforcement in the attachment position of the FU spring R to the paper exit 
lower paper guide, the thickness of the attachment position of the FU spring R is 
increased from 2mm to 3mm.  
(Note) This countermeasure is applied to the paper exit lower paper guide unit and the 
2nd paper exit unit of the old-version parts code whose attachment position of the FU  
 spring R to the paper exit lower paper guide is marked with "H" (See below.)
