1. Model Name AR-M256/M316 
2. Symptom 
When jam caused by catching paper in the drum occurs, the jammed paper presses 
the toner receiving sheet to the cleaner side. The toner receiving sheet contacts with 
the toner stirring sheet and is caught in it. It may cause waste toner drop. 
 
3. Description 
• To prevent jam by catching paper in the drum, 30ms has been added before and after 
the separating claw ON time (60ms in total). 
  Since the values of the items 1 and 2 in the simulation 51-1 have been changed from 
50 (default) to 53, the separating claw ON time has also been changed from 40ms to 
100ms. 
• To prevent the toner stirring sheet from contacting with the toner receiving sheet, the 
toner stirring sheet has been changed to the screw mylar for AR-266 series.
