2. Description
The production of the IC (TR88017S) used as the modem control PWB will be stopped, so
the modem control PWB will be changed.
Along with this change, the TEL/LIU PWB unit and flash PWB unit will also be changed.
The following PWB identification caution label is pasted to the backside of the FAX ROM
cover of the post-change FAX BOX.
Note 1) You cannot replace the old modem control PWB, TEL/LIU PWB unit, or flash PWB
the modem control PWB will be changed.

Note 1) Firmware comes in two types. One is for the new PWBs and the other for the old PWBs.
When you upgrade the ROM version, check the installed PWB and then use the
appropriate firmware.
