VOID MISALIGNMENT WHEN USING ADU

2.Symptom:
When sheets are fed from ADU (AR-DU3/DU4) to the main unit, the position of the edge of the
sheet is not stable due to the load placed on the ADU feed system, which sometimes leads to
image edge void misalignment.
The cause of this issue has been identified as the elimination of a single “multi separate
coupling (with one way)” from the ADU sheet feeder from November 2004 production.

The single “multi separate coupling (with one way)” that was eliminated from the ADU sheet
feeder has been added in the same location and one parallel pin has been eliminated. This
