* If the [CA] Key is depressed after either "Color" or "Black & White" has been selected, the Key Operator
Mode is cancelled without recording the setting data in the memory.
* If the OK Key is not depressed after either "Color" or "Black & White" has been selected, the display will
return to the Key Operator Function Settings Menu. (The previous settings will still be in effect.)
2. ADDITIONS OF NEW COLOR BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS CARRIED OUT FOR SPECIAL STATUS.
Settings Procedures.
* In models AR-C150/250, the "Color Balance" in the Key Operator Programs is written to the special modes so
that color balance and adjustments status can be job-registered on the user level.
* Touching the [Color Balance] Key (newly established) on the Color Adjustments Menu displays the Color
Balance Settings Window.
Window display.
* The indicator display of the Colour Balance Adjustments Window reflects the colour balance adjustment
status of the Key Operator.
* The adjustment status set by the colour balance of the Key Operator is the standard position, which is
displayed by the darkened indicators. (The [OK] Key is darkened when the machine is set to Standard.) The
current adjustment position is displayed by the highlighted indicators. As a result, during normal, machine
stand-by status, the standard position and the current adjustment position will be the same status display.
Window display
* The window displayed above shows a case whereby the colour balance of the Special Modes has been
opened when the colour balance adjustments of the Key Operator have not been adjusted (default status).

* The window displayed above shows a case whereby the colour balance of the Special Modes has been
opened when the colour balance adjustments of the Key Operator have been carried out.

* Adjustments can be freely carried out using the [
/
] keys of each of the 8 levels, and the 1-8 total level
[
/
] keys. At the same time, the balance adjustment function is treated as ON, the [OK] key returns to
normal display, and the colour adjustments icon is displayed.
* Depressing the [
] key returns the adjustment of the currently opened colour to the standard position.
* When all of the levels are returned to the standard position adjustments, the [OK] key is displayed in the
greyed-out status, and the colour adjustment icon disappears.
Window display.
* Touching the [Cancel] Key clears each of the adjustments, closes the colour balance adjustments window,
and returns the display to the colour adjustment menu window.
The [C], [M], [Y] and [Bk] keys in the Colour Balance Adjustment Window are inversely displayed for those
colours which are not currently opened when adjustments have been carried out to positions other than the
standard position.
P39: Colour Balance.
* It is necessary to register the "Color Balance" adjusted for the Special Modes to the job program before
carrying out registration of P 39 Color Balance.
* The window shown below is displayed when "Color Balance" is selected from the Key Operator Function
Settings Menu.

* Even if P 39 Colour Balance has already been selected, when the window shown above is reopened, the
previous selection (key inversion) is not displayed.
* Regardless of whether or not job registration has been carried out, the 1-9 keys and the [Return to the
Factory Default Settings] key are relief displayed.
* Touching the number key of the job program in which the colour balance has been registered will inversely
display the number key. Touching the [OK] key will close the window.

* A warning box will be displayed if colour balance has not been registered in the job program corresponding to
the selected number.

* Touching the [OK] Key in the warning box will close the warning box.
Warning Box MSG.
"COLOR BALANCE HAS BEEN STORED
IN THIS REGISTERD."
* The display will return to the Key Operator Function Settings Menu window if the [OK] Key is depressed
without selecting a job program number. (The previous settings will still be in effect.)
* If the [CA] Key is depressed after selecting the job program number, the Key Operator mode is closed
without writing the setting data to the memory. (The previous settings will still be in effect.)

* Touching the [OK] Key after touching the [Return to the Factory Default Settings] key will return the colour
balance to "flat".
* The later addition of a change to the setting content of the job program number in which P39 colour balance
has been registered will not affect the original colour balance that is registered in P 39.

3. ADDITION CARRIED OUT OF A PHOTOGRAPH REPEAT MODE FOR SPECIAL STATUS.
* Feedback Icon:
Setting Procedures.
* Touching the [Photo Repeat] Key in the Special Modes Menu palette will display the Photo Repeat Settings
Palette.
* If the settings palette is opened, a message is displayed directing the user to select the type of Photo
Repeat. (The [OK] Key display is darkened.)
