     Note: Do NOT install the new type developer into AR-DW1 type developer units (without N label). 
 
3.  With the front exterior door open, power on the copier. 
 
 
4.  Enter “Simulation Mode” 22-05 and confirm the PCU Firmware is at the correct level. 
 
 
5.  Enter “Simulation Mode” 24-05 and reset the Developer Counters. 
 
     Select ALL 4 colours and press the “Execute” button (as shown). 
 
 
 
 
6.  Enter “Simulation Mode” 25-09 (Developer Setting) as shown below:- 
 
 
 
 
     Note: If Test Simulation 25-09 is NOT displayed although the PCU Firmware is at the correct level,  
     execute Test Simulation 25-01 for 30 seconds.

7.  Select “1” for both A (Cyan) & B (Magenta) to enable “N1” type developer (as shown):- 
 
 
 
 
 
       Note: If AR-C17LD9 developer is installed when using the latest PCU Firmware, change the
 value 
      
 for A & B to “2”. 
 
 
8.  Press the “Interrupt” key once and enter “Test Simulation” 25-02 (DV Adjustment Mode). 
 
 
9.  Close the Front Exterior Door and select ALL 4 Developers to perform Developer Adjustment by 
pressing the “Execute” button. 
 
Note: Cycle the Developer twice using Simulation 25-02. 
 
 
10. After Developer Adjustment has completed, exit the 
"Simulation Mode” by pressing the “C/A” Button. 
 
 
11.  Complete the setup by performing the necessary adjustments as stated within the AR-C150 – 270 
Service Manual:-
