* The Exposure Mode is set to [Automatic] when the machine returns to initial status after carrying out
registration of any of the following for the Original Document Mode: [Text/Printed Photo], [Text/Photo], or
[Text]. In all other cases, the Exposure Mode is set to [Manual]. (In addition to the three Original Document
Modes, Exposure Mode is set to [Manual] after registration of Copy Original Document Mode has been
carried out.)
(2) [Paper] Selection.

* Changes in the settings during initial status are possible after mode cancellation has been carried out by
the CA Key during Auto-Clear operations and after the power supply has been turned ON.
* Registration of special modes, operation guide, copy interrupt, and no. of copies is not enabled. (The
warning signal will sound if the function key is touched while registration is not enabled.)
* If the ADU status is set to Not Installed or Use Prohibited when S --> D or D --> D mode is registered as the
initial status, S --> S mode is set as the default.
* If the RADF status is set to Not Installed or Use Prohibited when D --> D or D --> S mode is registered as
the initial status, S --> S mode is set as the default.
* If [Return to the Factory Default Settings] is selected, the Factory Settings are immediately set as the Copy
Mode Initial Status.
* If [Return to the Factory Default Settings] is selected when the LCC is installed, the LCC is set as the
selection tray default.
* If [Return to the Factory Default Settings] is selected when the LCC is not installed, Tray 1 is set as the
selection tray default.
* Due to the fact that the initial factory settings of the machine are stored in the ROM, changes cannot be
written in.
(6) P 38: Transfer Belt Position Setting
* Color, or Black & White can be set for the Transfer Belt Position.
* Default: Color (When the settings window is opened, however, both "Color" and "Black & White" are displayed
as not being selected. The previous settings are not displayed.)
* The following events will return the machine to the home position.
a. Initialization operations after the power supply is turned ON.
b. The CA key is ON.
c. Auto-Clear.

not displayed.)
* After either "Color" or "Black & White" has been selected, the OK Key will record the setting data in the
memory. If the OK Key is depressed, the display will return to the Key Operator Function Settings Menu.

* If the [CA] Key is depressed after either "Color" or "Black & White" has been selected, the Key Operator
Mode is cancelled without recording the setting data in the memory.
* If the OK Key is not depressed after either "Color" or "Black & White" has been selected, the display will
return to the Key Operator Function Settings Menu. (The previous settings will still be in effect.)
2. ADDITIONS OF NEW COLOR BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS CARRIED OUT FOR SPECIAL STATUS.
Settings Procedures.
* In models AR-C150/250, the "Color Balance" in the Key Operator Programs is written to the special modes so
that color balance and adjustments status can be job-registered on the user level.
* Touching the [Color Balance] Key (newly established) on the Color Adjustments Menu displays the Color
Balance Settings Window.
Window display.
* The indicator display of the Colour Balance Adjustments Window reflects the colour balance adjustment
status of the Key Operator.
* The adjustment status set by the colour balance of the Key Operator is the standard position, which is
displayed by the darkened indicators. (The [OK] Key is darkened when the machine is set to Standard.) The
current adjustment position is displayed by the highlighted indicators. As a result, during normal, machine
stand-by status, the standard position and the current adjustment position will be the same status display.

* The window displayed above shows a case whereby the colour balance of the Special Modes has been
opened when the colour balance adjustments of the Key Operator have not been adjusted (default status).
