C. Communication line between units
The PWB units and the units are connected with serial data lines with
the MAIN PCU PWB as the center. The PCU MAIN PWB obtains
status information from the units through these lines, and sends com-
mands to the units based on the status information to control the
loads of the units. 
The serial data line between the MAIN PCU PWB and the ICU MAIN
PWB is used to exchange information for arranging the engine opera-
tion with the output timing of image data.

[2] DETAILS OF OPERATION
(Operation and function of each
section)
1. Paper feed, transport section
A. Outline
The paper feed section has standard provisions of three tray unit.
As an option, either of a paper feed unit or a duplex unit can be in-
stalled to the option slot (at the top).
The manual paper feed tray is provided to print on the special paper
as well as the color print paper. (AR-150 only)
The paper transport section transports paper fed from each paper
feed section to the transfer section (resist roller).
The paper feed and the paper transport sections are driven by the pa-
per feed motor.
This section is controlled by the PCU MAIN PWB and the PCU SUB
PWB.
