Scanning documents directly in to a Web Browser:
The AXIS 700 by default allows a user to scan a document directly to their Web browser. Follow the
steps below to scan directly to your web browser.
Place the document to be scanned on the glass or in the document feeder of the copier.
Open the Web browser and enter the IP address that is set in the AXIS 700 scan server.
You should now have a connection to the AXIS scan server similar to the screen shot below.
Select the desired Scanning Profile from the drop down list. Custom profile settings can also be
made by selecting Custom and setting your desired parameters.

To scan, click on the Scan button.
The document will be scanned by the copier and sent across the network by the AXIS 700.
Depending upon the type and version of web browser you are using, a similar screen to the one
below should appear. From here, you can save the image to a floppy/hard disc.
Or if you have an adequate viewer on your computer capable of reading either TIFF or PDF files
(depending upon the profile you have used to scan your document) then you can also open the
file and view it directly within your web browser (as below).
** For instructions on how to scan to a file/directory on another computer using an FTP server or scan
to Email, please refer to NIS Systems Support Bulletins 010 and 011.
