(6) Restart the AXIS device and re-enter the admin menu. Click on Destinations -External
Destinations and view the screen. If LDAP has been successful then a list of uploaded email

(7) You can also utilise the Event Log menu option to confirm when and how many destinations have
been uploaded.
(8) If LDAP has not been successful the Event Log will confirm this to you as shown in the screen
shots below. This message will appear if the LDAP service has been disabled on the Exchange
system or if the IP Address for the mail server is incorrect.

(9) The following error log will be found if the user name and password entered for LDAP are

Configuring the ARNS1 Scanner
If you are installing an ARNS1 scanner, this too requires configuring to communicate with the Email
