External Address Book via LDAP. Enter the IP Address of the Exchange server in the

LDAP Server box. If the Allow Anonymous Connections check box was ticked within Exchange
Administrator at point 3 above then no more settings are required.

If the Allow Anonymous Connections check box was un-ticked within Exchange Administrator at
point 3 above, you will also need to insert a valid user name and password in the screen above.
All other settings can be left as they appear.

(6)  Restart the AXIS device and re-enter the admin menu.  Click on Destinations -External

Destinations and view the screen. If LDAP has been successful then a list of uploaded email
destinations should be seen as below.

(7)  You can also utilise the Event Log menu option to confirm when and how many destinations have

been uploaded.

(8)  If LDAP has not been successful the Event Log will confirm this to you as shown in the screen

shots below.  This message will appear if the LDAP service has been disabled on the Exchange
system or if the IP Address for the mail server is incorrect.

(9)  The following error log will be found if the user name and password entered for LDAP are

incorrect.

If you are installing an ARNS1 scanner, this too requires configuring to communicate with the Email
server.

(1) Open a web browser and enter the IP Address of the copier to setup the ARNS1 settings.

Alternatively the MAP software that accompanies the network card can be used to communicate
with the copiers network card.

Once connected to the copier, the following screen will be seen.
