1. Measure to alleviate problems of the toner leaking from the toner hopper.

There is a possibility of toner leaking from the mixing shaft section during toner feeding
operations. As a measure to alleviate this problem, the addition of a cover sheet has
been carried out.

All attachment surfaces should be wiped with

alcohol. (In particular, care should be exercised
to wipe the bottom surfaces of the ribs.)

<2>

Remove the sheet attached on the two-sided tape,

bend surface (B) of the sheet along the bending

standard (A) and attach.

Attach to the hopper ribs.

2. Measure to alleviate problems of curling during paper feeding operations in

the ADU unit.

2.General:

A change has been carried out in the inner diameter of the clutch spring of the calling roller
to increase the transport power. This action has been carried out as a measure to alleviate
problems of paper curling during ADU paper feeding operations. In addition to the change
described above, a change has also been carried out in the color of the spring. The new
springs are grey.

3.Action:

From the 1st lot of 1998 April production.
