MEASURE TO IMPROVE CONDITIONS OF SOILING OF THE

UPPER HEAT ROLLER USED IN THE FUSING UNIT

1.Model Name:

AR5125 (only for machines bound for the 230 V and 240 V market destinations.)

2.General:

A change has been carried out in the heater lamp. The wattage of the heater lamp has been
increased as a measure to improve conditions of soiling of the upper heat roller used in the
fusing unit. It is important to note that the color of the connector of the heater lamp has been
changed from white to red.

3.Action:

From the 1st lot of April 1999 production.
