As a measure to alleviate problems of black streaks during copy operations caused by
soiling of the SPF glass, silicon oil (TSF451-M1) is being supplied as a service part.
How to apply
Clean the surface of the SPF glass with alcohol.
After cleaning the surface of the SPF glass, place one or two drops of silicon grease on
the centre portion of the SPF glass, and spread evenly over the entire surface of the glass
with a clean rag.
NOTE: Care should be exercised concerning the volume of silicon grease used.  Too
much silicon grease placed on the surface of the SPF glass will cause unevenness when
spreading it across the surface of the glass.
