Paper catches when using the short
path. Adjust the position of the short
patch gate solenoid. Make sure the
springs have been removed from the
exit door when installing a finisher (not
AR505.507).
AR-FN1/3
FPFD3 & FPFD4 jams when using
staple mode.
Incorrect pressure of transport rollers
on transport door. Relocate rollers
and check if roller shaft is binding with
the location guides.
AR-FN1/3
FT30D_N paper jams.
Damaged delivery gate 3 – replace
(0EUGID0426L// - PG10-20).
AR-FN1/3
FSTIDS paper jams
Actuator not fully engaging with the
detector. Remove actuator and add 1
turn to the return spring.
AR-FN1/3
FPFD2 jam – unable to reset.
The top cover of the FN1/3 has been
bent causing the PFD2 sensor to foul
the ribs on the cover – replace.
AR-FN1/3
FPFRD3/4 misfeeds.
Check and/or replace the finisher curl
correction rollers. (Life 250k).
AR-FN1/3
“Remove Paper from Tray2” error at
power on.
T2PF sensor actuator jammed/broken
or missing – replace.
AR-FN1
A3 jamming when face down printing.
Incorrect firmware – upgrade to v2.13
or higher.
AR-FN1/3
When using staple mode, the capacity
of the off-set tray is reduced.
Due to the increased thickness of the
stack when stapling, the software
automatically reduces the stack height
depending on the number of sets.
AR-FN1/3
F1-08
See error code section.
AR-FN2
F1-05, F1-11, F1-14 & F1-15
See error code section.
AR-FN2
BES_S jams.
Check the position of the BES sensor.
If the operator pulls the compiled
bundle before the job is complete, this
will cause a BES jam.
AR-FN2
Jamming at FJTES.
Incorrect operation of the PRSL
reverse solenoid.
Check for a damaged flapper arm or
the incorrect fitting of the cushion
(adhesive showing).
AR-FN2
Jamming when printing A3 “Face
Down”.
Incorrect firmware – upgrade to v1.03
or higher.

IC22 Re Initialise Procedure

Detailed below is a procedure on how to reset machine data due to IC22 replacement or
failure (corruption). Refer to the “Parts Compatibility” section for IC22 machine compatibility.

Where possible, execute Simulation 22-06 (Data Print) for meter reading and machine
set-up information etc prior to re-initialising.

NOTE:
For AR287/337/407 and 507 models with an AR-NS1 installed, a
replacement IC22 must be obtained via the EEprom exchange service
from TPM Group.

The AR-NS1 cannot be reactivated following the execution of this
procedure as the Product Key is linked to the machine serial number,
which is erased.

 Procedure:
1.
Remove IC22 and Power On the Copier - A U2 Trouble Code should be
displayed.

2. Enter
Simulation 80-09  (Initial Data Setting) but DO NOT execute.

3.
Carefully Insert IC22 (with the copier still powered on).

4. Now
Execute
Simulation 80-09 to reprogram the EEProm with the Initial
Data.

5.
Power cycle the copier & Execute Simulation 16 to clear “U2” trouble.

6. Execute
Simulations 89-01 and 89-02 to clear all counters and key
operator data. Also use Simulation 24-01 to clear trouble/jam history
counters.

7. Execute
Enter
Simulation 26-59 (Scan Motor Set-up) to correct L3-00
trouble code - Set either “2 or 3” for 2 or 3 phase motor respectively.
AR287, 337, 407 or 507 models only

8.
Re-enter the Toner Density Value by using Simulation 80-02 or
Simulation 25-02 (recycling the developer).

9.
Re configure the SCSI port set-up using Simulation 26-44.

10. Change
Simulation 26-06 to “UK Destination” and check “UK English”
language set-up within Simulation 26-22
