2. General:
We have received reports of marks and / or background on the rear frame edge of copies,
particularly on connected machines with a high monthly volume. The problems may also
manifest itself as 'ghosting' or multiple image copies, due to poor cleaning.
3. Description:
The balance of the developer doctor blade is uneven. The front frame is lower than the
rear causing the rear frame of the copy to be overtoned. This creates a build-up of toner
on the rear frame of the cleaner blade after approximately 40K copies.
4. Action:
Check and adjust, as required, the doctor blade gap.

= 0.63 ± 0.03mm front and rear
AR250/286/336/405/505 = -.53 ± 0.03mm front and rear
