As of the 1st June 1998 the replacement of Copier EPROMs is being handled by a
company called T P Maintenance (Please refer to our letter ref. GBW/EPROMS dated
the 18th May 1998 and also, to Fast Facts FF/COP/059 dated 28th May 1998).

Since this scheme has been on-line the stocks of EPROMs in our Part centre have not been
replenished. Therefore, any orders for EPROMs sent to our Parts centre since this date may
have gone onto back order.

If you have ordered any EPROMs from our Parts centre since the 1st June 1998 and you
have not yet received them, could you please cancel the order(s) and then fax the request
through to T P Maintenance as stated in the above letter. Please ensure the Sharp parts
order is cancelled.

This EPROM upgrade exchange scheme has been designed to aid our dealership in
upgrading all copiers in the field with no cost to themselves. For it to work successfully
ALL EPROM upgrade requests must be dealt with by T P Maintenance and NO orders
for EPROM upgrades should be sent to the Sharp Parts centre.

Please ensure all engineers are aware of the new EPROM upgrade request procedure and,
also, please ensure that no further EPROM upgrade orders are sent to the Sharp Parts
centre.

Please advise our Technical Administration Department of any changes to your Service Department
details (i.e. fax number, telephone number, address, etc.) on fax number 0161 205 0014.
