2. General:
To improve the serviceability, the TN-LEVER for the toner cartridge unit is supplied as a
service part.
3. Description:
If the TN-LEVER is pressed in the opposite direction to normal one forcibly when handling
the toner cartridge unit, it may be broken. The TN-LEVER is supplied as a service part in
order not to replace the unit when it is broken.

The TN-LEVER replacement procedure is as shown below.
1) Loosen the screws shown in the figures 1 - 4.
2) Slide the TN-LEVER in the direction of the arrow shown below to pull it out (slide it to
the left).
3) Remove the lever SP, and mount the new TN-LEVER.
4) Slide the TN-LEVER in the opposite direction to that of the arrow shown below to
mount it. At this time, check that the fulcrum of the TN-LEVER is inserted as shown in the
enlarged view.
5) Tighten the screws shown in the figures 1 - 4.
