TECHNICAL BULLETIN
1. Model Name:

2. General:
When attaching the optional ARTR2 (job separator) to the main unit, the home position
of the separator tray can not be detected so the separator tray may not be moved near
the upper limit position (noise is heard).  When the movement is checked after mounting
the separator tray and this problem occurs in the market, please take the following
countermeasure.
Check on installation:
1.  Put about 100 sheets of A3 paper in the separator tray and execute the simulation 3-
4.
2.  Visually check the up/down movement of the job separator tray.
Countermeasure:
Shift the home position detection sensor of the job separator arranged on the delivery
interface PWB to the left facing the main unit.
Procedure:
1.  Remove the right cabinet. (Screws (1), (2))
COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST THE IMPROPER
MOVEMENT OF ARTR2 (JOB SEPARATOR)

2.  Turn the separator gear (3) and lower the separator levers F and R.
Remove fan duct (4).
3.  Remove the flat cable and shift the job separator home position detection sensor in
the direction of the arrow.
