may require attention when making a routine visit at the interval set in Sim 21-01.

Both Drum and Toner/Developer Cartridges are replaceable by the End User.

*    Based on A4 sheet @ 5% coverage.
**  The initial cartridge supplied with the machine has a life of approx.
     2000 sheets.
When the Drum counter reaches 17,000 copies, the drum replacement indicator will light
steadily, indicating that a replacement will be needed soon. When the indicator begins to blink,
the unit will stop operating until the drum unit is replaced.
The TD cartridge replacement indicator will light steadily when a replacement is required.
Copying/Printing will continue however, the copy quality will deteriorate until the indicator
begins to blink and the unit will stop. It may be possible to make a few copies after this point by
taking the cartridge out and shaking it horizontally and reinstalling it. If copying is not possible
after this action, the TD cartridge must be replaced.

The specification of the particular model involved and the peripherals which are
installed will determine which simulation/error codes will be operative.
