20. MAIL DESCRIPTION CONTENT
This machine is provided with the functions which send the following mails;
Periodic send mails which notify the display status periodically on the specified day of week and the specified time
 Abnormality notification mail which notifies an abnormality when there is any abnormality in the display

21. NONDISCLOSURE SCREEN OF CONTROLLING THE MONITOR WITH PC (LAN) 
CAUTION
      
The screens described in this chapter are not open to the public. 
21 - 1. SERVICE MENU
For the service menu, the following web access screen is provided.
This screen is displayed when the following URL is accessed with a
web browser.
http://<IP Address>/service.cgi
On this screen, the following item can be set.
Display when a command is sent from the edit box of “COMMAND”
When the command “POWR????” which reads the power status issent.
Example of the display when “1” (Power ON status) is sent back
from the display.

When [Send] button is clicked, the RS-232C 
command entered to the edit box by the user 
is sent to this machine.
The response of the command is displayed in 
the lower section of the edit box. 
SYSTEM LOG
The system log file of this machine is
obtained. 
When the anchor is clicked, the file download 
dialogue of the browser is displayed.
Follow the instructions of the dialogue.
TEMPERATURE 
LOG
The temperature log file of this machine is 
obtained.
When the anchor is clicked, the file download 
dialogue of the browser is displayed. Follow 
the instructions of the dialogue.

CHAPTER 5.  FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURES
1. FIRMWARE UPDATE
1 - 1. GENERAL
This monitor is supporting the three following methods of updating.
     - Updating by RS-232C cable
     - Updating by Network
     - Updating by USB Flash Drive
CAUTION
     On the structure of back cabinet, the size of USB Flash Drive which
     can be inserted is as follows. In the case of PN-R703/R603, use the
USB 
     Flash Drive whose length is up to 63 mm. 
     When USB Flash Drive cannot be inserted, size does not suit, use 
     a USB extension cable. 
   
There are two kinds of firmware (Main firmware and LAN firmware)
provided in this model.
The firmware of the related device is contained in main firmware, and it
has become the structure which the firmware of the related device also
writes in automatically by writing in main firmware.
The composition of firmware is shown below.

1 - 2. MAIN FIRMWARE UPDATE FLOW
Main firmware is updated by the following flow. The updating by  
RS-232C cable and by network and by USB Flash Drive
CAUTION
 Check not having connected the cable to the OUT terminal of 
    DisplayPort before writing in a main farmDisplayPort
    Where the daisy chain of the DisplayPort is carried out, if firmware is 
     written in, renewal of firmware may go wrong.
