1.Model Name:
 LL-H1513/T1520/T1620
2.General:

Take the following measures to change the parameters for the resistors in the main PWB
of the above models.
3.Description:

[Problem]
When the SOG (Sync On Green) signal is input and the entire display data is switched from
black to white, the synchronisation signal fluctuates, making it impossible to synchronise
the signals. As a result, the screen will become black for about 3 seconds.
Note: The SOG signal is a green signal with synchronisation signals combined, which is
used in a small number of old personal computers, workstations or other devices.
As the SOG signal is not used in most personal computers and video cards, this problem
will rarely occur.
[Cause]
Too much time was taken to charge the decoupling capacitor in analogue input. (Improper
parameters were set for the fault-tolerant synchronisation circuit.) In addition, the
synchronisation signal fluctuated when the image data was switched. As a result, the
internal scaler LSI thought that the signal was broken up and started the required
processing including the display resolution settings from the beginning. This caused a
blackout in the screen for about 3 seconds.
[Measure]
Raise the current value of the fault-tolerant synchronisation circuit to increase the speed for
charging the decoupling capacitor. This will help to prevent the synchronisation signal from
fluctuating.
(1)  Change the parameters for the following parts in the main PWB.

(2) Upgrade the firmware.
The above problem was already solved in version 1.07 or latter of the firmware. When
repair service is required, use the latest version of the firmware 1.08.
For more information on the firmware change, refer to Service Information, issue LLF-
A007.
