6) Check to confirm that the contents set in 1) to 5) are proper.
Caution: Check to confirm that the content of [MONITOR EEP READ/WRITE] is set to [READ] and that the value of
[MONITOR EEP ADR] is set to [0xA]. If the content of [MONITOR EEP READ/WRITE] is set to [WRITE], the
time is changed. In addition, if the content of [MONITOR EEP ADR] is wrong, the system will fall into an
abnormality and it may be permanently damaged.
7) If the items are correct, press [ENTER] button.
8) Put down the content of [MONITOR EEP DATA].

1. POWER LED (LARGE CLASSIFICATION)
Error type
Power green LED operation (1 cycle)
Remarks
(The pin is the monitor microprocessor 
(IC2002) pin.)
Lamp failure
Flashes once: Fast
ERR_PNL(43pin): L error. Settled with match-
ing 10 times continuously in the interval of
500msec. (Detected only when the backlight is
lighting.)
Note that the machine does not boot with 5
times in the accumulated total except for the
monitor process. (At the first time, only the
inverter reset is made and error OFF is not
made.)
[Clear method of accumulated number of times]
Set "LAMP ERROR" (page 1 of process A) to 0.
While pressing [CH_DOWN]+[VOL_UP] on the
main unit, turn ON AC_ON for 3 minutes contin-
uously.
Power failure
Flashes twice
Refer to “2. Power failure details”.
Communication failure 
with main CPU
Flashes 3 times
Refer to “3. Communication failure details”.
Communication line failure or main CPU com-
munication failure.
 Check debug statements for the main CPU.

screen).
Error standby when the temperature is kept at
60°C or more for 25sec or more.

Decrease the MONITOR MAX TEMP value
(temperature protect threshold value) on page
28 of the process A.

Lamp error
Lamp abnormality. If it occurs 5 times, the unit 
cannot be turned ON. To boot forcibly, while 
pressing [CH_Down] + [VOL_UP], turn AC_ON.

temperature exceeds 60˚C, remove the factor 
which causes the temperature rise. 
VSYNC abnormality detection. Video process 
IC operation abnormality.
Replace the main PWB.
