SYMPTOM Failure of the grill heating element resulting in a hole burnt in the ceramic tube and the
element shorting to earth causing it to fracture.
CAUSE
Contact between the grill element and the grill reflector at the point where the element
passes through the hole in the grill reflector.  This contact creates a localised hot spot
where it is possible for the ceramic tube to be burnt through.
ACTION
Replace the grill-heating element (RHET-A231WRZZ) and ensure that there is a
clearance gap between it and the hole in the grill reflector.
