SYMPTOM Does not reach convection temperature - as measured inside the oven cavity with a
suitable temperature detecting device.
CAUSE
Oven operating normally.
REASON
The heating concept of the ovens listed above involves the elimination of the
convection heater as seen in previous ovens. Hot air is circulated inside the oven by a
fan, and the upper and lower grill heaters provide the heat.

Because of this, the 'Autocook' menus and user manual menus are specifically
matched to this mode of operation, to take into account the effect of the "direct heat"
from the grills. Although the working temperature may not match the temperature set
by the end user, this direct heat from the grills in operation together with the 'Autocook'
software produces the same level of "doneness" as if the convection heater was
present and in use. The convection fan forces this direct heat into the food to crisp and
brown to the same level as a conventional convection appliance.

Cooking development has shown that the final results from the 'Autocook' / user
manual menus are every bit as acceptable as with a convection appliance with the
heater.

The differences in temperature recorded between an appliance with and without the
convection heater should therefore be irrelevant and more importance should be
placed on the cooking results themselves. As long as all relevant instructions, and
menus, are used on these appliances, cooking results should be as good as any other
convection oven.
