REASON
From serial number 10800051 ( Brown ) and 10800050 ( White ) a number of
components have been added to the Control PWB.

ACTION
If necesssary fit the components listed below following the instructions.
If the model concerned has the old Control PWB fitted then carry out the follow
1. Remove resistor R1 and replace with a jumper link ( J1 ).
2. Change the jumper wire J12 to a resistor designated R85 ( 1k2, 0.25W ).
3. Add capacitor C85 ( 22uF, 50V ).
4. Add diode D85 ( 1SS270A ). C85 must be fitted as described below.

i)
Insert the negitive lead of the capacitor through the emitter hole of Q82
on the component side of the PWB and solder in place.

ii)
Insert the positive lead of the capcitor through the collector hole of Q82
and then to the base of Q83 on the print side of the PWB.

iii)
Solder in place.
iv)
Cut off the excess lead on the print side of the PWB.
