SYMPTOM Error message EE8 appears in the display, either intermittently or permanently.
CAUSE
High voltage circuit relays, RY2 and RY3.
ACTION
Replace RY2 and RY3 using the part number given below.
Note that the error message EE8 is generated when the microprocessor turns off the
high voltage relay but can still measure current flowing through the high voltage
transformer.  Therefore this fault can be caused by a 'sticking' or 'lazy' relay.  It can
also be caused by a short circuit or 'bouncing' relay contact.
It is advisable to replace both relays, as the microprocessor does not differentiate the
power circuits.
