Table Assignment.
Table Assignment.
– It has become a requirement in the restaurant market to allow
operators to see quickly the status of each table, if it open, closed
or if the bill has been printed allowing operators to make a visible
decision on how long tables will be open for. It also displays the
Table Name and last server number. If the Table in question is
selected it will be opened ready for more items to be ordered. On
a network system the tables status is transferred from each
machine to all other machines in the system.

Card Number Check by Payment Method.
Card Number Check by Payment Method.
– Some customers require the breakdown of credit card transactions
to be done at the POS. If using Commidea it is normal to have a
single payment method for credit. However this means that only a
single Payment Method will be reported on the Close Session and
End of Day. The alternative is to have different payment methods
for each Card Type and, although each one will be reported the
operators could use any button for any card as the POS cannot
restrict a card to a Payment Method. To ensure only specific cards
can be used by a payment method a new feature has been added.
This will allow cards to be rejected by the POS if they are not valid
via the Payment Method in question. The best example being
AMEX and other cards needing to be separated.
