3. SharpPOS+ Installation Procedure
1.
Ensure that the Windows date and time are correct on the iPAQ.
2.
Download the SharpPOSPlus install zip file from the technical website
and extract the file “SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB” to your SD card.

3.
Insert the SD card into the top of the iPAQ
4.
Select Start - File Explorer, then select the drop down SD Card
5.
From the SD card locate the file SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB and select
copy.

From the dropdown select iPAQ File Store and paste the file
“SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB” into the root of the iPAQ File Store
“SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB” into the root of the iPAQ File Store
7.
Once the copy is complete, from within the iPAQ File Store touch the
file “SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB”

When prompted with the ‘unknown publisher’ message select YES

Choose the install location as ‘DEVICE’ and select Install
10.
When the message “SharpPOSPlusxx_x_x.CAB” successfully installed
appears select OK

Within the root of the iPAQ File Store there should now be a file
‘CremeCurrent.Cab’ Touch the file ‘CremeCurrent.Cab’
12.
When prompted with the unknown publisher message select YES
13.
Choose the install location as ‘DEVICE’ and select Install
