I have installed the Venta

software onto the UP-X200, and I can
successfully ping the controlling till’s IPADDRESS,
but when I select the ‘Trading’ button within the Venta
+
software
I get the following message ‘No Reply From Control PoS’.
What could be the cause of the problem?
The ‘POS IP address’ setting within the Venta
+
Configuration –
Device tab, Doesn’t match the IPADDRESS that has been set within
the master.

No, You can use modified PLU items instead.

Why does the UP_X200 keeps going off after 10 minutes?
When the Venta + software is installed the UP-X200 is set to go into
SUSPEND mode after 10 minutes this is to save the battery recharge
time.
If you press the Power button the UP-X200 will start at the point in
which it went into Suspend mode.

I have a 2 till system with 1 hand held.
How do I stop the bar machine printing KP3 jobs (ie Drinks) which

I only want the drinks sold on the UP-X200 to Print
At the Bar ?
This will involve setting up a PROXY Till (a till that doesn’t exist).
You need to create a Till config file for a new till ie 3
Within the till config file for till 3 set the order printer 3 to print at
the master till ie 1
Ensure that the order printer 3 setting in the Till Config file for till 1
is not enabled.
Create a KP3 within Printers for Till 1 and ensure that it is enabled.
You don’t need to set the Tills to be 3 and when you perform an
eod the Proxy till will not show on the reports.
