It is now possible to connect the following Avery scales to the UP-300
Avery FX100, FX110, FX115, FX120, FX125
The following setup has been carried out using the Avery FX125, this setup
guide should also be applicable to the above Avery models.

Avery Scale settings
The only 2 branches that need to be configured within the Avery scale are as
follows: -
Branch 36 
Serial Port 1 Configuration
00 = 1  (RS232)
01 = 5  (9600)
02 = 0  (7 Data Bits)
03 = 2  (Odd Parity)
04 = 0  (Full Duplex – no RTS/CTS Handshaking)
Branch 38 
Communications 1 interface configuration
00 = 7  (Dialogue 06 (04/02) protocol)
01 = 1  (Dialogue 04/02 mode)
02 = 1  (Send unit price as 6 digits)
03 = 0  (NCI extended command set Disabled)

UP-X300 series quick setup
1. Select - Pos Device Programming/Device Programming and ensure that
the Bizerba setting is selected.

3. Within – Pos Programming/Products/PLU Setting – Program one of the
PLU or EAN codes to be Scale Compulsory.
4. Program a price against the PLU code.
5. Ensure that Fractional Quantity is set to YES within POS Programming –
System Setting – Administrator – System – Fractional Quantity
