Backs Up the System
 
 
This features let you quickly recover and replace your hard drive. For the detailed 
information please refer to User’s Manual. 
 
1. Create System Snapshot 
 
1.1 Windows 
This feature is available only if you install it by clicking Install System Snapshot 
(Undo) in the main console. 
 
1) Double click the DriveClone Pro Client Module icon on your desktop after boot up 
system booting. 
2) Click Back Up to create a system snapshot. You can click Create a System 
Snapshot on the main interface of DriveClone to start creating a System Snapshot 
3) Enter a name for the System Snapshot. Click Next to continue.   
4) After you choose a way to create the system snapshot, click Next.   
i) If you select Start Now, DriveClone will initiate the process after clicking 
Next Twice. 
ii) If you set a schedule, specify the frequency for creating or restoring from a 
System Snapshot automatically. 
5) Confirm all the settings, and then click Next to launch the backup process. 
6) If any program is currently writing data to the hard drive, DriveClone may not be 
able to create a System Snapshot. 
7) Click Finish when a System Snap has been successfully created.

2. Back Up My Computer   
 
2.1 Windows   
1) Start the DriveClone program. Select Back Up and then click Back up Computer. 
2) Select Create a New Complete Backup. 
3) Enter a name for your new Complete Backup and Click Next. 
4) Select the partition(s) or the entire hard disk to back up, and click Next
5) Enter the storage path and click Goto. Or select a destination location on a hard drive, 
USB storage medium. 
6) Click Next to continue. 
7) Click Start Now to proceed.

Restore the System 
 
This feature is only available if you install System Snapshot and take system snapshots 
on your system. 
 
1. Return to a system Snapshot 
 
1.1 Pre-OS 
This feature is available to restore the system in Pre-OS when your Windows OS was 
damaged. 
 
1) To launch the DriveClone Pre-OS, press the F4 after the system POST but before 
Windows
®
 begins to load. 
2) Select Restore tab, and then click on Return to a system Snapshot icon to display a 
list of System Snapshot. The first System Snapshot listed will be the most recently 
created snapshot. 
3) Select date you want to restore to from the calendar on the left pane and select 
System Snapshot of that day you would like to restore on the right pane and click Next
4) Choose to restore the Entire Hard Drive or C:Drive Only and then click Next to begin 
restoration. 
5) Carefully read the warning message. And then click OK to proceed to next step. 
6) Your computer will restart automatically to start the restoration process. 
If there does not have any Snapshot, there will not launch Pre-OS even press F4. 
 
1.2 Windows 
1) Start DriveClone Pro Client Module on your desktop after boot up the system. 
2) Click Restore in Main Console, and then click Return to a system Snapshot.
