It is now possible to connect the following Bizerba CS 300 scale to the UP-
3500 series

The Bizerba scale can also be used as a customer display, this will show PLU
item text/price/subtotal and payment information for all PLU/EANs entered at
the POS not only scale items. This is dependent on the type of display fitted
to the scale.

The following setup has been carried out using the Bizerba CS 300.

UP-3500 series quick setup

1. Service or PGM 2
2. Select Device Config
3. Select Scale
4. Select Channel number
5. Program one of the PLU or EAN codes to be Scale Compulsory.
6. Program a price against the PLU code.
7. To utilise the Optional Bizerba 2 line display there is a new setting available

in within PGM 2 – Setting – Terminal – Scale Display = 99 (this is the time
in seconds that the Item description will stay displayed on the Scale
display).

CS300TMP
Standard price computing checkout scale designed to sit on top of a checkout
table.
£350 plus VAT.

CS300TEP
Price computing scale designed to be flush mounted on a checkout table.
£375 plus VAT

Alpha display
An optional display that will show the item text/price/subtotal and payment
information for all PLU/EANs entered at the POS not only scale items. Is
available at an extra £35 plus VAT.
