6. Set the ‘Reader Module Type’ to Track 2 (for SharpPOS).
7. Check the settings Track 2 & iButton: Start Code, End Code, Enter are as
shown above.
8. Select the WRITE icon.

11. Ensure that SharpPOS is not running and open notepad. Swipe the card and
the details should appear as above (this test card only had information on
track 2)
NOTE: SharpPOS only reads track 2.

1. The Dallas / MSR combo RZX8MRDB is supported from SharpPOS V4.1.2337
2. In VPM – Configure – Till Configuration (2) – Physical set the iButton port to
Wedge and the MSR Type to External USB
