It is not permissible for any Sharp Approved Dealer to supply Electronic Cash Registers
or peripherals to any other dealer/branch without the written authorisation of Sharp
Electronics (UK) Ltd.
Any Dealer/branch supplied in such a manner will not receive Sharp's support.
2.0  Dealer Service Responsibilities
2.1
It is the Dealer's responsibility to carry out the following points: -
a.
To inform the customer of the warranty and service arrangements for the
equipment.
b.
To instruct the customer of the correct specification.
c.
To properly install the machine, carrying out the key operator training. To ensure
that the correct programming and operation of the Cash Register is understood
by the customer, including the installation and replacement of any consumables.
d.
To always provide prompt and efficient service to their customers with Sharp
Cash Register products.
e.
To ensure that an engineer carries out all service calls who has successfully
completed a Sharp Technical Training Course, for the model in question.
f.
To keep accurate records of machine service history.
g.
To carry out fully and promptly any modification that may be required by Sharp
to any of the Cash Registers the Dealer has sold.
h.
Dealers must hold a minimum spare parts stock for each model, to be able to
maintain their machines in satisfactory condition.
IMPORTANT
It is the Dealer's responsibility to provide the warranty service for the duration of the
warranty period to the customer.
The warranty provided by Sharp Electronics (UK) Ltd is to the dealer, not the dealer’s
customer. This warranty commences from the purchase date of the machine by the
dealer and is subject to the relevant Warranty Registration Card or a letter head
containing model numbers and corresponding serial numbers being returned to the ECR
/ EPOS Technical Department at Sharp within seven days of the purchase date.
