9. FITTING HARD DRIVE TO UP5700 / 5300
The following configuration must be carried out when installing hard disk drives on
the UP5300 / UP5700.

SET DIP SWITCHES 4 AND 5 ON
When then new hard disk is fitted power on and from the

1. Create DOS partition or Logical DOS Drive

When prompted with

Say NO
Set the size to 2000 when prompted.
Enter a partition size in Mbytes or percent of disk space (%) to create a Primary DOS

This will then set the size to be 2001 this is correct and press escape to continue

Then when prompted to enter then number of the partition to make active press 1
