PREVENT ENTRY THROUGH PRINTER COVER.
PREVENTING PAPER JAM
Model Name: UP600/700
General:
Change in Dust Cover Modification to prevent paper
jamming.
Cause:
To prevent entry of foreign objects (crumbs or liquid) falling
into the printer and causing damage a new Dust Cover was
fitted.
However with the new dust cover fitted, under extreme
conditions the paper can become caught in the paper outlet
and this can result in printer jams
Action:
When a paper jam occurs on machines produced
from June 2003 to December 2003 the dust cover should be
replaced with the new modified type.
