COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST DRAWER
SOLENOID TEMPERATURE FUSE BLOWOUT.
1.Model Name:

2.General:
We have received report of temperature fuse blow-out
during extreme ambient temperature on the drawer
solenoids..
3.Symptom:
When the ambient temperature is high, the drawer solenoid
temperature fuse may blow out.
4.Cause:
The direct cause of the drawer solenoid temperature fuse
blowout is that the drawer solenoid drive IC is turned ON
because of the increase in leak current through the D13 and
D14 diodes in the AC coupling circuit in the drawer solenoid
drive IC when the temperature becomes high.
5.Action:
To fix the voltage level across the driver input terminal, two
diodes (1SS133) shall be added.

The action shall be taken on a troubleshooting basis.
