I have noticed there is an all download in Service
mode and in Program mode, what is the
difference ?

The difference is Service Pre-sets, Files and all
PGM are sent down in SRV mode and only PGM
settings are sent in PGM mode.

The error message “Code not free” appears when
the mode key is moved out of reg. mode on an in
line system (i.e. into X position it then lets you
take the report but will not allow you back).

This is caused by a machine having an overlap
clerk on the system. This was the case with all
other machines, however there is now a break
through .
If you go to the Z1 position then try to do a reset
report the machine will inform you which clerk is in
overlap mode (and if still signed on will display the
machine number ) simply insert this key and
complete its transaction.

the mode key is moved into X1 or X2 mode
position, and then any other mode switch position.

This is caused by a machine having an overlap
clerk on the system. Go into X1/Z1 position and
press the Cancel key,
If you go to the X1/Z1 position then try to do any
reset report the machine will inform you which
clerk is in overlap mode.
Press cancel key until you are back to the main
X1/Z1 screen.
Remove the inserted key, the ! Symbols will
appear go back to Reg position and insert the
offending Overlap key and finalise the transaction.

Is it possible to take PLU/EAN Reports  on
individual machines within a network ?

No.
Because the PLU/EAN sales file is only located in
the Master machine on a network.
