Programming at the UP-3500

Orderman related programming has to be done only at that ECR where the base-station is
connected.

The programming of the UP-3500 is divided in SRV- and PGM-programming.

SRV-Programming

CAUTION: During SRV-programming the communication to and from the base-station is
inhibited.

Orderman-Mandatory-Setting

Important: There are some programmings that are mandatory for Orderman-usage.

•  SRV#909D set to “Transaction in progress” = (-1)  0000.

•  UP-3500 must be setup for overlapped-clerk-registrations.

This has to be done in SRV-mode via creation of the filing-group 107 and
parameter SRV#910A set to (+1)  1000.

•  SRV#919B “Entry of the number of guests” set to inhibit = (-2)  4100.

•  SRV#981C must be set to “Final key is Total Status Key in GLU” = (+2)  0020.

•  SRV#981C is recommended for “PLU group 0 setting” set to disable = (-1)  0020.

•  SRV#987D set to “No GLU Subset Code” = (-4)  0200.

•  PGM-2 – 02 Settings – 04 MEDIA – 3 CREDIT set for each available Credit the

“AMOUNT ENTRY” to COMPULSORY

Orderman-Device-Setting

SRV-Mode – 2 SETTING – 01 DEVICE CONFIG – 19 ORDERMAN

Here the serial port has to be set at “CHANNEL#“ where the base-station is connected
to, as well as the “BAUD RATE“.

AT „ORDERMAN x ID“ the serial-numbers of the installed Mobile Order Terminals have
to be entered. Only registrations form terminals that are listed here will be accepted by
the ECR. Registrations of unknown terminals will be ignored completely. No message will
appear, neither at the ECR nor at the Mobile Order Terminal.
