WIRING CHANGE OF THE DRAWER LOCK UNIT
 [Parts changes]
1. Model name:
ER-A170/A250/A310/A330/A430/A460/A470/A490/A510S/A550S/A570/A610/03DW
04DW/A6DW/1911S/1921S/1970
Service root optional drawer of ER-A460/A470/1911S/1921S
2. General:
With the uneven length of the leads between the solenoid and the microswitch there
may be an unlikely chance that they touch the lock angle at the rear of the drawer to
blow the fuse in the ECR unit, and so the lock unit wiring in the drawer has been
changed as follows.
(1) The connecting position of the lead between the solenoid and the microswitch on
the solenoid has been changed from the front to the rear as shown in the right
figure.
(2) The length of the above lead has been increased 10mm longer and it has been
bundled together with the other three leads with a nylon band.
(The solenoid of ER-1911S, ER-1921S, ER-2386S and ER-2396S is a terminal type
and the terminal is located at the rear end of the solenoid, the change on these
models is that shown in the above (2) (Bundled with a nylon band) only).
3. Action:
((For the field))
For units with a blown fuse , exchange it for a lock unit with the leads bundled.
((For production))
From Feb. 1997 production
