When plug off the ECR during keystroke entry, in OFF mode or during SLEEP mode and plug in again the ECR will not work probably.  
The probability of this issue is round about 1/2000. 
When this phenomenon occurs a PROGRAM RESET is required. 
Fortunately it has no influence to memory and the ECR can be used continuously.
