6. ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT METHOD
6-1. IC501 FRONT TIMER MICON INITIAL JUMPER SETTING METHOD
Whenever EEPROM IC503 is change, please confirm lnitial Jumper Setting using below method.
Initial Jumper Setting
1).Press the power key to turn off the power. Then, enter Initial Jumper Setting mode by pressing the R/C Test key
    (F8H) OR take off the front panel, and press Test key SW5005.
2).By using channel 
' / " key, confirm the jumper setting base on below table.
      *If JP Number blinking: “1”    If JP Number light ON: “0”
3).Press DVD PLAY key to change to “1” (JP Number blinking).
    Press DVD STOP key to change to “0” (JP Number light ON).
4).After finish the setting and confirmation, again press the R/C Test key (F8H) OR press Test key SW5005 at the
    front panel to cancel the Initial Jumper Setting mode..
5).Press Reset key at the front panel.

6-2. Notes for servicing
1. After replacing NAND Flash (IC7507), upgrade the version using the CD.
2. After replacing the Main PWB, do initialization of the HDD.
The following parts cannot be replaced as the system information needs to be written. (Replace the PWB.)
1. EEPROM IC7504
Setting procedure after replacement of HDD or main PWB
1) HDD aging
The test mode can be accessed after replacing the HDD.
[1] Enter the test mode with the keys on the main unit (press the channel DOWN key and DVD REC STOP key simultaneously).
[2] Press the “RED” color key botton of te R/C.
[3] Press the ENTER key of the R/C.
“000001” appears on the LCD of the front panel. the aging starts. The display will change to “000777” when the aging is
completed.
Should “EEE” appear, replace the HDD and start the process over. Aging takes approx. 2 hours.
[4] The aging is completed when “000777” appears, turn off the Power.
[5] Restart the unit and check the operation.
2) Factory setting
Initialize all the settings. Enter the test mode and select “INS.SHIPMENT” “ON” by using the cursor Key
(
' / " / Û / û).
Then,Press the ENTER key on the R/C.
Initialization is completed when “INS.SHIPMENT” “OK” is display on the TV screen.
Turn off the Power.
6-3. Writing of software
1. Press the power key to turn on the power.
2. Open the tray with the tray open/close key and place the version upgrade CD.
3. Close the tray. Upgrade begins automatically.
“200” appears on the main unit display.
4. When the upgrade finishes, the tray opens and “208” appears on the main unit display.
5. Turn off the power to complete the upgrade.
• Upgrade the writer in the same way. In this case, “300” and “307” appear on the main unit display during the process.
