The cooling fan operates while the power
to the Recorder is on. It also operates
while in the standby state (when the

While pressing
down,
slide the battery cover in
the direction of the
arrow
.

Load the batteries.
Load the two R-03 size batteries (
“
AAA
”
size, UM/SUM-4) supplied with the
remote control unit. Make sure that the
battery poles
and
are positioned
as indicated.

Slide the battery cover
in the direction of the
arrow until it clicks.

5. DISASSEMBLY METHOD
5-1. DISASSEMBLY METHOD
(1) Method for disassembly of top cabinet.
1.Remove 3 pieces of screw
1 and 2 pieces of screw 2.
2.Slide top cabinet backwards for a distance of 10mm then lift
exposed edge of top cabinet and slide upwards.
(2) Method for disassembly of front panel.
1.Push protrude area of a with screw driver etc,in direction shown
to push tray out.
2.Remove tray dec ass'y from tray.(Unhook 4 hooks & remove 2
springs)
3.Remove 2 pieces of screw

4.After removing 8 hooks of front panel, pull panel frontward.
(3) Method for removal of operation and LCD board.
1.Disconnect FFC. harness at 4 places.
2.Remove 2 pieces of screw

and 1 piece of screw

3.Pull all boards frontward.
(4) Method for removal of main board.
1.Remove wire holder .
2.remove 4 pieces of screw
7.
3.Disconnect FFC, harness at 7 places.
4.Remove main board by lifting upward.
(5) Method for removal of HDD unit.
1.Remove 4 pieces of screw

2.Remove HDD unit (with angle) by lifting it upward.
3.Remove 4 pieces of screw
9.
4.Remove HDD unit.
5.Remove flat cable and power cable.
(6) Method for removal of G-link unit.
1.Remove 1 piece of screw
0 and 1 piece of screw q.
2.Slide G-link unit out of rear panel.
3.Remove 1 piece of screw
w.
4.Remove G-link unit from jack angle.

(9) Method for removal of UV tuner board, power board and sub-board.
1.Remove UV tuner board by pulling upwards.
2.Disconnect cables of power board and sud-board.
3.Remove 5 pieces of screw

4.Remove power board by lifting upwards.
5.Remove 1 piece of screw

6.Remove sub-board by lifting it upwards.
(8) Method for removal of rear panel and fan.
1.Disconnect fan cable from sub-board.

3.Remove fan and fan angle.
4.Remove 1 piece of screw

5.Remove 2 hooks of rear panel from chassis.
6.Remove rear panel by puling it away from chassis.
