SYMPTOM Intermittant track skipping or Slide Motor unable to transverse Pick Up across disc.
CAUSE
Side Motor Gear cracked.
ACTION
1.  Remove washer ( item 131 ), gear B ( item 69 ) and gear C ( item 70 ).
2.  While holding the body of the Slide Motor, remove the gear.
3.  Push on the new Slide Motor Gear, aligning as in diagram below.
4.  After re-assembly, check that all gears rotate smoothly.
