unit turns off with the POWER LED indicator blinking.
ACTION
Error detection indication, Flashing POWER LED (Red colour)
The unit will power off if abnormal operation is detected by the microprocessor i.e.
incorrect power supply rails, over temperature or amplifier overload. The
microprocessor will flash the power LED to indicate the detected fault.
POWER LED Flashing Sequence identification
The power led flashing sequence starts immediately after the error detection forced shutdown
sequence is initiated and is repeated after a 4 second pause (power LED not lit).
The individual errors are identified by using a combination of long (2 second on 1 second off) and
short (4 flashes 0.5 second on 0.5 second off) flashes, the position of the 4 quick flashes from the
beginning of the sequence indicates the detected fault.
The number of long flashes after the quick flashes is not important but you must always ensure you
have counted from the beginning of the sequence i.e. immediately at shut down or after the long
pause!
