REASON
There have been 2 different System Micom used in this range of models and before
you can update the operating software you will need to find the version fitted.

ACTION
Follow the following procedure to find Micom used and how to install the latest
software.

1. Holding down both the power button and the stop button connect the mains supply
to the unit.
2. In the display window of the unit the Micom used will be displayed see figure 1.

3. If the displayed Micom is between HD H 1018 and HD H 1032 use software
SRC97Txx but if the indicated version is HD H 1036 0r HD H 1037 use software

To update the installed software follow the instruction below.

2. Rename the file on your memory stick to ( DVDROM.BIN ).
3. With the unit unplugged from the mains press and hold the “Power” button and the
“Stop” button and reconnect the mains supply to the unit.
4. Using either the Volume control knob ( HT-DVxxH ) or Volume buttons ( AN-
PR1500 ) find the (FW UPDATE) indicated in the display see Figure 2.

5. Insert the USB memory stick.
6. Press the Stop Button the display will then show current version and blink.
7. The USB option within the unit will now check the current version installed against
the stick version and if connected to a TV display show you indications of upgrade
see figure 3.

8. Press “Enter” to confirm upgrade and screen/display will indicate upgrading see
figure 4 and 5.

During this operation DO NOT UNPLUG USB STICK OR TURN OFF THE UNIT.

9. When completed the display will revert back as figure 1: but with the latest version
of software installed. See figure 6.

10. Press the power button on the unit and wait until “RESET” is displayed, at this
point you can unplug the unit from the mains supply.
