[4] Tuner Test
a) Unit will Power On in TUNER function.
b) Preset will be writen as shown below for each destination
ΰFM MONO BAND α
c) Receiving Preset No. 1
d) End TEST mode if POWER key is press
ΰ All preset will be deleted α.

1. Mode Outline
It is possible to read setting value after Auto Adjustment(to judge between initial value) 
To force movement of pick-up 
Inner Move, Outer Move, LD ON/OFF
To display accumulate error total for 10sec while PLAY(about 750frame at normal)
(For this model it is not count by Frame Method, but 10sec timer Accumulated Error Total
and not related Frame total)
4 x CLV trace but, no sound output.
2. IN CD Test Mode
1) Direct POWER ON in CD function.
2)  Execute initial process to DSP.
3)  Send command correspondence to key.

4. Read Error Total
By pressing DISPLAY key while PLAY, will display Accumulate Error Total for 10sec time
(about 750frame at normal)
Read Method
1.  Send PRCSET (9188) command EC/FC=H
2.  Observe BUS2 while in idle mode, If become "H"(Sub-CODE read possible)
     by (SRC6) read command Error Total for 1 frame are read.
3.  This process will repeat for every 10sec, the value will be display. And renew for every 10sec.
4.  While displaying ERR, if Display key input detected it will return to TEST MODE normal display.

1.   STEP No. is, ”0” 
Д “5”. ”0” is STOP condition.
2.   Adjustment Value Read or Error Total Read are display on FL.

[8] EEPROM Writing Mode
A Test Mode to apply improvement patch if happen bug in Micom Mask IC, 
 1.Test Mode Operation
a) POWER ON in display porpose Power ON.
b) Check port setting, if set to EEPROM exist, go to EEPROM write standby condition. 
c) DATA being send from PC using RS232C port, DATA will be transfer to EEPROM. 
d) After finished transfer, EEPROM writing port will be set to write prohibit.
e) By pressing POWER key test mode end and RESET process will be execute.

[6] Test Mode for Writing Micom Software (FLASH IC) 
1. CD-R Writing Mode
  It possible to write software to FLASH using CD-R. This Test Mode is to set enviroment 
  for writing process.
System MICOM will POWER ON in CD function.

Ѿα Enter "ROMCF____" and display will show“FLASH_WR_”.
ѿα Load CD-R that only being copy with *.MOT file.
Ҁα Unit will automatically enter UPDATE Mode after reading DATA.
ҁα SNOOZE_LED will blink during Writing Process.
҂α After succeed writing SNOOZE_LED will light up.
҃α If error happen ALARM_LED will start blinking.
҄α Take out DISC after the DISC EJECTED.
҅α RESET will be display due to POWER key press if writing process succeed.
҆α Test Mode end without reseting for error writing if POWER key pressed.
[7] Test Mode for Writing EEPROM Patch
1. CD-R Writing Mode
  It possible to write PATCH to EEPROM using CD-R. This Test Mode is to set enviroment 
  for writing process.
System MICOM will POWER ON in CD function.

Ѿα Enter ROMCE and display will show “EEPROM_WR”.
ѿα Load CD-R that only being copy with *.MOT file.
Ҁα Unit will automatically enter UPDATE Mode after reading DATA.
ҁα LED CONT1/2 will blink 1Hz during Writing Process.
҂α After succeed writing LED CONT1/2 will light up.
҃α If error happen ALARM_LED will start blinking 2Hz.
҄α Unit will Automatically RESET, if writing process succeed.
҅α RESET will be display due to POWER key press if writing process fail.
