SYMPTOM Noise from the cross flow fan/drain pan.
CAUSE
The left hand side of the cross flow fan touches the drain pan rib. See Figure 1 below.
ACTION
Adjust or replace the cross flow fan as below:
1.  Remove front panel according to "The disassembling procedure" in the service
manual.
2.  Loosen the screw fixing the cross flow fan to the motor.
3.  Using a screwdriver, push the left end of fan shaft towards fan motor side (see B),
then tighten the screw so that there is a gap between the fan and drain pan rib
(see A).
4.  Confirm that there is no noise when the unit is operated.
5.  If the fan still makes noise, replace the fan following the "The disassembling
procedure" in the service manual. Check for noise again after replacing the fan.
